Turkey Breast Rub

Brown Sugar-Rubbed Turkey Breast

1 (3 lb) turkey breast

2 T brown sugar

1 t parsley flakes

1 t sweet paprika

½ t dry mustard

½ t garlic powder

½ t onion powder

½ t salt

¼ t cinnamon

¼ t pepper

¼ t ginger

  1. Pat the turkey with paper towels to dry. Mix the brown sugar, parsley flakes, paprika, dry mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, cinnamon, pepper and ginger in a bowl. Pat the brown sugar mixture evenly over the turkey.
  2. Arrange the turkey on a rack in a baking pan.
  3. Roast at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until a meat thermometer registers 170 degrees.
  4. Let rest before slicing.
