It's blasphemy with my side of the family yo use any other recipe...but this one is GOOD!
1/2 c butter, melted
2 c Buttermilk
1/2 c milk
1 t vanilla
2 eggs, separated
1/4 c sugar
2 t powder
2 t soda
1 t salt
2 1/2 c flour
Melt butter. Warm milk and Buttermilk, then add to butter. Mix well. Add vanilla
and egg yolks. Mix well.
Add dry ingredients and mix til smooth but don't overmix.
In a small bowl, whisk egg whites until white and bubbly. Add to batter and mix well.
Add butter to hot griddle. Spoon batter on the griddle and cook em up!
