Cinnamon Rolls

These are yummy and HUGE!

1/2 c water
1 c milk
1/4 c butter, melted
1 T sugar
1/2 t salt
1 egg
4 c flour
1 box instant vanilla pudding mix (or another flavor)
1 1/2 t yeast

1/2 c butter
1 c brown sugar
4 t cinnamon
nuts or raisins optional

Heat water and milk to 120'.  Pour into mixer with butter, sugar, salt, egg and 1 c flour.  Mix.  Add 2 c flour, pudding mix and yeast.  Stir to make sticky dough.  Add more flour (up to a cup) as needed to make a workable dough.  Knead until smooth and elastic.  Place in a bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled.  Punch down,l divide in half, and roll out to a large rectangle.  Spread with softened butter, sugar and cinnamon mixture.  Roll, cut into 6 and place in a 9x13.  Repeat with the other half.  Let rise in pan for 1 hour.  Bake at 350' for 30-45 mins, until done.  Frost while warm, but not hot.

Note: try different kinds of pudding for fun flavors.

Use chocolate pudding mix, then put in butter and 1/2 c brown sugar, mixed with a handful of mini chocolate chips and mini marshmallows for the filling.....super delicious!
