Gingersnaps

¾ c shortening

1 c sugar

1 egg

2 T corn syrup

2 T molasses

2 c flour

2 t baking soda

1 t cinnamon

1 t ginger

Cream shortening and sugar. Then add remaining ingredients and stir well. Roll into 1 inch balls. Roll in sugar. Bake on ungreased pan at 350’ for 8-10 minutes. Take out while still puffy.
