Stuffed Peppers

I found this recipe online somewhere. It's pretty good but you'll want to play with it a little bit to fit your tastes.

2-3 green bell peppers, washed
½ lb ground turkey
½ c rice, cooked
½ onion, chopped
1 ½ c tomato sauce
1 t garlic salt
1 t Italian Seasoning
dash chili powder
1-2 oz cheese, grated

Cut around stem of peppers and remove. Remove pulp and seeds. Rinse out and cook in boiling water for about 5 minutes. In another pan, brown turkey and drain fat. Then add rice, onion, 1 c tomato sauce and seasonings. Mix well. Remove from heat and add cheese. Stuff each pepper with the mixture and place in a casserole dish. Pour remaining tomato sauce on top of each pepper. Bake for 25-30 mins at 350’.
