Cheesy Pesto Rolls

Tried these from pinterest and they were delicious!  Made them smaller for this recipe so they weren't so huge!

1/2 c water
1/2 c milk
1 egg
1/2 c melted butter
2 T sugar
1 t salt
4-5 c flour
1 T yeast
1/2 c pesto (homemade or from mix, or premade)
1/2 c shredded  mozarella cheese

Warm milk and water to 120 degrees.  Add to sugar and yeast.  Let rise for 5 minutes.  Then add salt, egg, butter and flour.  Mix well, then knead.  Let rise.  Divide in two.  Roll out like a cinnamon roll.  Spread with 1/2 of pesto and half of cheese.  Roll and slice like a cinnamon roll and set on a baking sheet.  Repeat with second half.  Let rise again.  Bake at 375 for 15-20 minute, until done.

*Play with the amount of pesto and cheese.  Better a little too much than not enough.
